In recent years, the location of about 600 Azerbaijani citizens who faced problems in various regions of the world has been determined and their return to the country has been ensured.

Modern.az reports that this was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, at a press conference held with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Ayman As-Safadi.

The minister stated that Azerbaijani citizens should take into account risk factors when traveling to foreign countries and comply with the warnings of official bodies.

He stated that participation in military conflicts in foreign countries is considered a violation of Azerbaijani legislation:

"We would like to remind once again that participation in armed conflicts in foreign countries is contrary to Azerbaijani legislation. Such cases can even result in deprivation of Azerbaijani citizenship."
