The VII Summer Camp of Diaspora Youth started in Zangilan on August 2. This time, more than 120 Azerbaijani young people from 64 countries are participating in the camp.
The camp is considered one of the most important diaspora platforms that brings together young people living in different countries. The goal here is to form a new environment for cooperation. In modern times, diaspora activity is not limited to the traditional unity model. Digital communication, public diplomacy, and international networking are considered main priorities in this field.

Summer camps for diaspora youth are considered an important platform in terms of public diplomacy, national identity, international cooperation, and youth networking in modern times. Unfortunately, some elements living abroad try to throw stones at such a sacred and important work. They unequivocally oppose the unity of Azerbaijani youth abroad around their state.
In fact, they are hostile to the Azerbaijani state. Why should it bother them that one Azerbaijani young person visits Zangilan, or a thousand Azerbaijani young people come to Shaki, Shamakhi, Shusha, Nakhchivan, Khankendi, Zangilan? Those young people see Armenian traces and construction in the liberated regions.
Who should be bothered by Azerbaijani youth living abroad knowing their history and seeing what 30 years of Armenian occupation did? Of course, occupying Armenia, the Dashnaks, and their patrons...
This means that those who sit abroad and show hostility towards Azerbaijan on social media are those with a Dashnak mentality.
But one point should not be forgotten. Azerbaijan has become a strong state, the President of Azerbaijan is the leader of all Azerbaijanis in the world. Azerbaijan is a victorious state.
