Russian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Mikhail Evdokimov thanked the Azerbaijani side for its support in organizing the elections to the State Duma.
Modern.az reports that the diplomat spoke about this while answering journalists' questions.
“Taking this opportunity, I would like to thank the Azerbaijani side for its continued support in organizing the elections of deputies to the Russian State Duma. Our polling station operates in Baku. A week ago, with the support of the Azerbaijani side, a polling station also operated in Ganja,” the ambassador said.
Dmitry Zhuzhzhalov, secretary of the precinct election commission, said that 3,200 ballots were prepared for the polling station located at the Russian Embassy in Baku for holding elections in Azerbaijan.
According to him, more than 500 voters are expected to participate in the voting.
