US President Donald Trump has announced the creation of “Artificial Intelligence Forces” (AI Force).
Modern.az reports that Trump shared this on social media. The US leader stated that he will soon announce the name of the new head responsible for the field of artificial intelligence – the “AI czar”.
Trump did not provide detailed information about the activities and powers of the new structure.
Although the US President's statement compared the “Artificial Intelligence Forces” to the Space Force, it was not clarified whether this would be a separate new branch of the US Armed Forces.
The Trump administration is cautious about increasing restrictions on the development of artificial intelligence and seeks to maintain the US's global advantage in this field, especially in competition with China.
