Sophie Binet, General Secretary of the General Confederation of Labor (CGT), one of France's largest trade unions, sharply criticized the economic situation in the country.
Modern.az reports that Binet called France "the sick country of Europe."
According to her, France has become one of the few countries on the verge of recession. The head of the trade union blamed President Emmanuel Macron's economic policy for the current situation.
Sophie Binet also stated that the upcoming winter will be difficult for the country due to numerous strikes.
