The British government has apologized to Ukrainian child refugees who were required to learn Russian in English schools.
Modern.az reports that this information was included in the British Ministry of Education's decision to start funding a new GCSE exam in Ukrainian.
Ukrainian students who sought refuge in Great Britain after Russia's war started in 2022 considered it an "insulting" step that they were offered to learn Russian because there was no GCSE exam in Ukrainian in schools.
It should be noted that, according to the new decision, the necessary financial resources have already begun to be allocated for the implementation of the official examination system for the Ukrainian language.
