A group of MPs has warned about the delay in the renovation initiative of the historic Palace of Westminster, where the English parliament is located.
Modern.az reports that this information was included in a special report prepared by the parliamentarians.
Thus, the deputies emphasized that if the restoration and repair work is not prevented from being delayed, the building will face the risk of a "catastrophic event" in terms of safety. The report states that delaying the restoration project increases both the risks and financial costs day by day.
It should be noted that the historic Palace of Westminster, one of the symbols of London, has been in need of serious restoration and reconstruction work for many years.
