In the midterm elections held in the US Congress, Americans voted against war with Iran.
Modern.az reports that this idea was voiced by the Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf.
"Americans said 'no' to war, and we support this message," Ghalibaf wrote on the social network "X".
It should be noted that, according to the results of the midterm elections, the Democratic Party took control of both chambers of Congress.
On Monday, US President Donald Trump told "Axios" that Washington was "not in a hurry" to resume military operations with Tehran.
Later, one of the journalists asked Trump if new strikes on Iran would be possible after the midterm elections. The US President answered this question negatively.
It should be recalled that the US and Israel began striking Iran on February 28. Tehran responded with retaliatory attacks.
Although a memorandum on the cessation of military operations between Iran and the US was signed in mid-June, the parties later exchanged strikes again.
The conflict has not yet been resolved.
