Researchers studying the legacy of the French astrologer Nostradamus have identified his predictions regarding events that may occur in 2027.
Modern.az reports that this was stated in a study and commentary published on the “Sky History” portal on November 3.
It is noted that there are no direct indications in Nostradamus's works that events will occur specifically in 2027. Those who advocate such interpretations link the probable prophecies with the 27th quatrains in various parts of the collection “Centuries”.
One of the probable predictions speaks of fire in the sky spreading from west to east, from the southern direction. Modern commentators believe that these lines may describe large-scale forest fires. The relevant passage is said to belong to section XI of “Centuries”.
Another probable prediction is linked to the escalation of the situation in the Middle East. The 27th quatrain of section V of “Centuries” describes the advance of troops from Persia (Iran) towards Trapezus, fire, and armed conflict near the Black Sea. Commentators see in these lines a hint of a possible conflict in which Iran and Turkey may be involved. It should be noted that Trapezus is the historical name of the current city of Trabzon in Turkey.
Another interpretation is related to possible upheavals in the world economy. The lines referring to people weakened by gold, silver, and debts are given as a basis for this. Supporters of this version believe that it may be about a large-scale financial crisis. However, that quatrain is given with the number 28 in section VIII of “Centuries”. This does not comply with the principle of the 27th quatrain put forward for the search for predictions.
The fourth prophecy is linked to possible political events in France. Commentators consider the expression about a blow to the dauphin, the ancient name for the heir to the French throne, in the context of the presidential elections planned for the spring of 2027. They do not rule out that these lines may be related to Marine Le Pen's possible struggle for the head of state post.
The last probable prediction is related to the discovery of hidden valuables. One of the quatrains mentions a treasure located under an oak tree in the lightning-struck Jiyen region. Those who advocate this interpretation link these lines to Oak Island in Canada. The island is known for its legends about the legendary treasure pit called “Money Pit”.
However, the island is not mentioned in Nostradamus's text. This connection is based only on the assumption of modern commentators.
