Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian thanked the Pope for his stance on the recent military attacks.

Pezeshkian stated that the attacks of the USA and Israel against Iran are directed not only against his country, but also against international law and universal values.
“I highly appreciate your moral and logical position regarding the recent military aggression against Iran. The attacks of the USA and Israel are not only against Iran, but against the rule of law and universal values,” the Iranian president emphasized.
He noted that Iran retaliated within the framework of its right to self-defense, but nevertheless remains committed to diplomacy and the peaceful resolution of conflicts.
Pezeshkian called on the international community to show responsibility in the face of the “illegal actions” of the United States.
The Iranian president also called on the countries of the world to oppose the “adventurous and dangerous policy” of the United States.
