The Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced the suspension of all contacts with Kaya Kallas, the European Union's High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy.
Modern.az reports that this was stated in the Israeli Foreign Ministry's statement.
The decision was made after reports that Kallas compared Israel to the apartheid regime that once existed in South Africa.
The Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs accused Kallas of taking a biased stance against the country.
"Her behavior towards Israel is obsessive and an example of shameful bias," the ministry's statement said.
