In Moscow, for the first time since the 1990s, a birthday party involving "thieves in law" has been prevented.
Modern.az reports that this was announced by "Prime Crime" agency, specializing in Russia's criminal underworld.
According to the information, the jubilee ceremony of Suren Tavadov, of Armenian origin, known in the criminal world as "Suren Andijanski", was held in one of the restaurants near Moscow. The event did not escape the attention of law enforcement agencies.
It was reported that the ceremony was also attended by Vagif Suleymanov, an Azerbaijani "thief in law" known in the criminal world as "Diplomat Vagif", and Nugzar Torchinava, known as "Torchik". During questioning by the police, none of the participants introduced themselves as a "thief in law".
