The number of delayed and canceled flights at Moscow's Vnukovo, Domodedovo, Sheremetyevo, and Zhukovsky airports has reached 527.
Modern.az reports that Russia's "Shot" "Telegram" channel has released information about this.
According to the source, the most tense situation is observed at Sheremetyevo airport. Here, 50 flights have been canceled for departure, and 71 flights are delayed. In addition, 60 flights that were supposed to land at the airport have been postponed, and 76 are awaiting postponement.
It should be noted that on the morning of June 18, all four Moscow airports temporarily suspended their operations to ensure flight safety. The reason for this was a massive attack carried out by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the Russian capital using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). This attack is considered the largest UAV attack in the last two years. It has been announced that 85 drones have been shot down around Moscow since night.
