Donald Trump and Masoud Pezeshkian have signed a memorandum of understanding on a ceasefire between the US and Iran.
Modern.az reports that the 14-point agreement extends the ceasefire announced in April, including in Lebanon, for another 60 days to allow both sides to negotiate a permanent ceasefire.
According to US and Iranian officials, Trump and Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian signed the memorandum electronically in English and Persian.
The Iranian Foreign Ministry announced that the agreement came into force overnight.
Trump signed the document at the Palace of Versailles, where the Treaty of Versailles, which officially ended World War I, was signed.
