The “Maritime Partnership-2026” military exercise, jointly organized by the Chinese and Russian navies, has started at the military port of Qingdao city in eastern China.
Modern.az reports with reference to the information spread by the Chinese media that a joint headquarters was created within the framework of the exercise, and mixed units consisting of the naval forces of both countries were formed.
According to the information, large-scale military exercises will be carried out in three main stages. The main directions are the gathering of forces, port planning and sea exercises.
Immediately after the opening ceremony, the naval forces of both countries began joint command and tactical coordination work.
In the coming days of the exercises, the process will become even more intense. Thus, military ships participating in the maneuvers will move to the sea and air space off the coast of Qingdao. Here, tasks such as joint reconnaissance, air and missile defense will be performed, and at the same time, firing exercises will be held using real military ammunition.
