Araz Agalarov's “Crocus Group” company, operating in Russia, is demanding 1.68 billion rubles (approximately 36 million 500 thousand manats) from “Ingosstrakh” insurance company for the "Crocus City Hall" concert hall that was burned down in 2024.

According to the information, the demanded amount is less than one-third of the total damage. However, it is stated that it may be difficult to satisfy the claim. The reason given is that the risk of a terrorist act was not included in the insurance contract.
The claim was accepted for proceedings by the court on July 10.
It should be noted that Araz Agalarov's son, People's Artist Emin Agalarov, had previously estimated the damage to the company at 150-200 million dollars. It was stated that approximately 100 million dollars of this amount could be spent on the reconstruction of a similar concert hall.
It should be recalled that the terrorist act at "Crocus City Hall" occurred on the evening of March 22, 2024. A group of armed individuals entered the building, shot everyone they encountered, and started a fire. The roof of the concert hall collapsed. As a result of the attack, 145 people, including 6 children, died, and more than 550 people were injured.
