Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan offered the leaders of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan to become shareholders in the TRIPP project, which is planned to be implemented jointly with the United States.

Modern.az reports that, according to the Armenian publication "Hraparak", Pashinyan stated that he is ready to give 5 percent share in the project to both countries.

This refers to the 26 percent share that Armenia is expected to acquire in the initial stage of the project. According to Pashinyan's proposal, 5 percent of this share can be given to Kazakhstan, and another 5 percent to Kyrgyzstan.

The head of the Armenian government has voiced this proposal before. Yesterday, during a phone conversation with Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Pashinyan congratulated him on the successful holding of the Kurultay elections in Kazakhstan and brought up his proposal for participation in the TRIPP project again.

According to information, Kazakhstan's participation in the project may not be limited to this. Astana is also considered as a possible successor to Russia in the management of Armenian railways.

Thus, in addition to Kazakhstan's participation in the TRIPP project, a more active role in the management of Armenia's railway system may come to the fore.

One of the main announced results of the phone conversation was Kassym-Jomart Tokayev's intention to visit Armenia in October.
