Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan made an important statement regarding the Zangazur corridor.
Modern.az reports with reference to local media that during his speech in the parliament, it is noted that within the framework of the project, the railway line will pass through the Nuvadi-Akarak direction of Armenia and will connect Armenia with Russia and Central Asia through the territory of Azerbaijan.
Pashinyan noted that in case of realization of the TRIPP route, Armenia's access to the regional transport network is expected to expand significantly. The passage of the route through the territory of Azerbaijan can create conditions for Armenia to gain new logistics opportunities in the direction of Russia and Central Asia.
He added that one of the main goals of the project is to restore transport links and form new trade routes in the region. In this regard, TRIPP is presented as one of the important projects for both Armenia and Azerbaijan in terms of the development of regional communications.
