Early elections to the unicameral parliament are being held in Kazakhstan today.
Modern.az reports that voting started at 07:00 local time and will continue until 20:00.
A total of 10,423 polling stations are opening across the country. Of these, 79 were established under Kazakhstan's representations in 61 foreign countries. 7 political parties are competing for deputy mandates in the elections to the Congress: "Adal", "Auyl", "Baitak", "Ak Zhol", All-Republican Social Democratic Party (OSDP), People's Party (NPK) and "Respublika".
777 international observers from 42 foreign countries and 13 international organizations will monitor the elections to the Congress.
