The Speaker of the Iranian Parliament announced their “complete victory” over the US and Israel
The Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, stated that Tehran has achieved victory over the US and Israel in both military and political spheres.
Modern.az reports that Ghalibaf spoke about this during an event dedicated to Journalists' Day.
He said: “We truly won this war, both militarily and politically."
According to the Speaker, when the US and Israel attacked Iran, they officially set nine goals, but they could not achieve any of them at any level. Ghalibaf called this “the biggest and absolute defeat of the US and Israel.”
He also described the agreement reached between Iran and the US as a “document of pride and victory” and stated that it shows the consolidation of Tehran's success in the diplomatic direction.
At the same time, Ghalibaf admitted that the government could not fully convey the feeling of victory to the population: “We could not talk about this great victory as we should have. Iranians have the right to enjoy and be proud of this victory."
