Iran claims to have inflicted a political defeat on US President Donald Trump not only on the battlefield but also in Washington.
Modern.az reports that Mohsen Rezaei, Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, stated that Tehran also influenced the results of the US congressional elections.
“The Iranian people inflicted a strategic defeat on Trump on the battlefield and in the Strait of Hormuz, and also brought him a political defeat in Washington,” Rezaei wrote in a post on the social network “X”.
The Iranian official warned that anyone who enters into a confrontation with his country will pay the price.
It should be noted that according to the results of the US congressional elections held on November 3, the Democratic Party gained a majority in both chambers of Congress.
