New images of Apple's first foldable iPhone model have emerged. The latest photos circulating online provide the clearest idea yet of what the device will look like both open and closed. The images, shared by famous Apple insider Sonny Dickson, show a mockup of the device dubbed "iPhone Fold." The photos show both the smartphone's large internal screen and its external screen. When open, one part of the device features a large foldable screen, while the other part houses the rear camera module. The images also align with previously leaked CAD renders from Apple.
The mockup also shows the hinge system that provides the device's folding mechanism. When closed, users will only see the external screen, with the camera block located on the back. Sonny Dickson also noted an interesting detail in his post. According to him, there is a possibility that Apple will only offer the foldable iPhone model in white at the current stage. The insider states that there are no signs that the company is working on additional color options. This information also aligns with claims previously spread by another well-known source, Instant Digital. According to that information, Apple is still discussing whether or not to offer a black color variant.
