Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, who is on a visit to Russia, met with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov in Moscow on Tuesday.
Modern.az reports that Fidan stated at a press conference in Moscow that he discussed the situation in the South Caucasus, as well as the ongoing peace process between Baku and Yerevan, during his talks with Lavrov:
“We discussed in detail the situation in the South Caucasus. We reviewed the ongoing peace process between Azerbaijan and Armenia. This is a very important factor in terms of ensuring peace in the region.”
