On June 16, the last four-day session of the Armenian parliament, whose term of office is expiring, began.
Modern.az reports with reference to Armenian media that a total of 56 issues were on the agenda. 12 of them will be discussed in the second and final reading, and the rest in the first reading.
Most of these draft laws relate to public administration, tax system, environmental protection, local self-government and regulation of economic activity.
Armenian media writes that opposition deputies boycotted the parliamentary session.
"The opposition is not participating in the session that started on June 16. Thus, the session is held only with the participation of deputies from the ruling "Civil Contract" party," the media writes.
