Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenka said that the time when he was called a "dictator" is long gone.
Modern.az reports that Lukashenka noted in an interview with Al-Arabiya TV channel:
"This is already the past tense. Yes, I do not meet with the heads of European states, including leading countries, but I am in contact with them either through their representatives or directly, as was recently the case with French President Emmanuel Macron."
Lukashenka added that none of the European leaders call him a dictator anymore, because it looks ridiculous.
According to the Belarusian leader, he is not a dictator, because he does not have the resources to impose his will on anyone by force.
At the same time, Lukashenka called on the journalist to positively evaluate the fact that he interviewed a politician known as "Europe's last dictator."
