Belgrade recognizes Georgia's achievements and carefully studies the country's economic experience.
Modern.az reports that Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić stated this at a joint briefing with Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze.
According to him, in the first quarter of this year, the Georgian economy grew by 9.3 percent, which is one of the highest indicators in Europe.
“Since 2012, Georgia has been demonstrating impressive results. Serbia recognizes your achievements.”
He also emphasized that Serbia sees Georgia not only as a friendly country, but also as a state connected by “Orthodox traditions formed over centuries.”
A. Vučić added that the Serbian side is proud of Georgia's development and “learns a lot” from its economic model.
The President separately noted the 12 percent growth in the construction sector and the results achieved in the tourism sector, calling these indicators “exceptional” and comparing them with the best practices in the world.
At the same time, the Serbian President also confirmed his intention to develop relations and strengthen economic cooperation between the two countries.
