The Council of the European Union (EU) has included individuals and companies involved in the production of long-range drones in its sanctions list as part of the 21st package of sanctions adopted against Russia.
Modern.az reports that this was stated in the information released by the EU Council.
According to the information, a total of 56 individual sanctions have been imposed against natural and legal persons associated with the Russian military-industrial complex within the framework of the package.
The document notes that 37 natural and legal persons included in the sanctions list are directly involved in the production of long-range drones and their supply chain. In addition, the new sanctions package also targets entities that strengthen Russia's military potential and help circumvent sanctions.
