Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Ismail Baghaei announced that they have not initiated talks with the US, but have agreed to a mediator's visit to Iran.
Modern.az reports that Baghaei spoke about this in a statement to journalists.
According to him, Tehran has not made any request for talks with Washington. However, the Iranian side has agreed to the mediator's visit to the country.
Baghaei did not disclose further details and did not provide information about the identity of the mediator or the content of possible contacts.
