Israeli opposition leaders have called for forming a government with the support of Arab parties.

Modern.az reports that Yair Golan, leader of the "Democrats" party, and Yusuf Jabarin, chairman of the United Arab List, have stated their readiness to cooperate to change Benjamin Netanyahu's government.

"Netanyahu has lost. I can count up to 120. 65 is greater than 55. That's how Israeli democracy works," Golan wrote on the X social network.

He called on the opposition not to shy away from cooperation with Israel's Arab citizens.

Jabarin, in an interview with "Channel 13" television, stated that any political force offering an alternative to the current government should negotiate with his faction. In an interview with "Ynet," he said that his party would use its political influence to remove the Netanyahu government from power.

According to preliminary data from the Israeli Central Election Commission, after 76.8 percent of the ballots were counted, Netanyahu's bloc wins 54 seats, Gadi Eisenkot's bloc 47, and Arab parties 19 seats.

It should be noted that 61 seats are required for a majority in the 120-seat Knesset.
