The US and Iran can resume talks.
Modern.az reports with reference to foreign media that US Vice President JD Vance sent a letter to an Iranian official offering to resume peace talks between the two countries.
The letter is said to have been delivered to Mohsen Rezai, Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, through Qatari mediators. Vance noted that he could lead the US delegation himself.
If the parties reach an agreement, the meeting could be held next week in Qatar or Turkey. Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi said that contacts with mediators are continuing and diplomacy is allowed.
