A telephone conversation took place between Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and French President Emmanuel Macron.
Modern.az reports that the Turkish Presidential Administration issued a statement about this.
The leaders discussed Turkey-France bilateral relations, as well as regional and global issues.
Touching upon the process of electing the new Secretary-General of the United Nations (UN), Erdogan stated that the new Secretary-General should be able to turn the UN back into the center of multilateralism and have the appropriate vision and experience to effectively implement the necessary reforms.
The Turkish President also invited Macron to the COP31 Leaders Summit to be held in his country.
