NATO is starting large-scale military exercises in Latvia, near the Russian border.
Modern.az reports that Latvia's "Delfi" publication has released information about this.
According to the information, the exercises, named "Resolute Reforger 2026", will be the largest military exercises in the history of NATO's multinational brigade stationed in Latvia.
Approximately 3,000 servicemen and 1,000 units of military equipment will be involved in the exercises, which will continue until November 8.
During the exercises, the deployment of military units, their logistical support, coordination of their activities over long distances, as well as their interoperability with the Latvian Armed Forces will be tested.
