After 37.4 percent of the votes were counted in the Israeli parliamentary elections, Benjamin Netanyahu's "Likud" party is leading.
Modern.az reports that, according to preliminary results, Netanyahu's bloc wins 57 seats in the Knesset, the opposition bloc 47, and Arab parties 16 mandates.
Netanyahu's coalition needs 4 more mandates to secure a majority in the 120-seat parliament.
If this distribution is maintained in the final results, an agreement with other parties or deputies will be necessary to form a government.
