A new incentive mechanism is being developed in Russia to increase the number of large families and the birth rate.
Modern.az reports that, according to the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of Russia, a one-time payment of 1 million rubles is planned for women who give birth to 10 or more children.
The Ministry stated that the initiative is part of a package of measures implemented to strengthen state support for large families and improve demographic indicators.
The new payment mechanism is specifically aimed at strengthening the social protection of families with many children. The amount of 1 million rubles provided for families with 10 children will be additional financial support for women in this category.
It is noteworthy that the issue came to the agenda against the background of discussions about the demographic situation in Russia. Increasing the birth rate in the country has been presented as one of the main social directions of state policy in recent years.
In addition, various social benefits and financial support mechanisms are applied for large families. With the new initiative, it is planned to further expand this support.
