Alexey Pushkov, a member of the Constitutional Committee of the Federation Council of Russia, criticized President Emmanuel Macron amid the ongoing protests in France.
Modern.az reports that he shared a post on his Telegram channel, stating that "Molotov cocktails" are still being detonated in Paris. The senator also drew attention to a photo showing an attack on a law enforcement office in one of the capital's districts.
"Despite all his promises of tough measures, Macron has not yet learned to establish order in France," Pushkov wrote.
The Russian senator claimed that otherwise, the French President might be interested in the continuation of violent protests for some reason. He also stated that French experts believe that the actions are directed and financed from outside.
