Within the scope of the investigation carried out against Merkezefendi Municipality in Denizli province of Turkey, 5 suspects, including the mayor Şeniz Doğan and his wife, have been arrested.

Modern.az reports that a total of 27 people were detained as suspects in the case.

7 of them were released, and 15 were released on condition of judicial control.
