If Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky wants to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin, he must come to Moscow.
Modern.az reports that this was stated by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
Lavrov said that the date of the talks in Abu Dhabi will be announced after it is confirmed. He claimed that Zelensky's position on strikes against Russia does not help in preparing the meeting.
The head of the Russian Foreign Ministry stated that Moscow is grateful to the Donald Trump administration for accepting the reasons for the conflict in Ukraine. According to him, the reputation of European countries should be taken into account when discussing security guarantees with Ukraine.
Lavrov said that agreements on diesel fuel caused dissatisfaction in the US Congress and called not to have illusions about these agreements.
The minister emphasized that the prospects of relations with Washington will become clear from the concrete steps to be taken after the elections. He also noted that there has been no progress on the issue of Russian diplomatic property in the United States.
