The United States has begun evacuating non-essential diplomatic staff and their family members from Saudi Arabia due to security threats.

It was stated that Houthi rebels operating in Yemen and supported by Iran are carrying out attacks on Saudi Arabia, including civilian airports and critical infrastructure.
The State Department warned US citizens about possible missile and drone attacks, airspace closures, flight cancellations, and potential disruptions in transportation. Citizens were advised to exercise extreme caution when using airports in the kingdom.
Americans were also reminded that it is forbidden to take and disseminate photos and videos of missile and drone attacks, as well as the areas where they landed.
