Against the background of still warm weather, the issue of extending the beach season has come to the fore again. Especially yesterday, against the background of two people drowning in the sea in Bilgah, the official end date of the season caused public discussions. So when will this year's beach season end?
In response to Modern.az's inquiry, the Ministry of Emergency Situations stated that there is currently no final decision on when the beach season will end.
The Ministry noted that information regarding the date of the end of the beach season will be announced by the Ministry of Emergency Situations on the relevant date.
It should be noted that the relevant decision and regulation on this matter are jointly adopted by the relevant state bodies - Baku City Executive Power, Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) and the Republican Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology of the Ministry of Health. Previously, the beach season usually ended on September 15.
