Estonian Defense Minister Martin Herem said that his country is ready for a possible military confrontation with Russia.
Modern.az reports that Herem said during his speech at the meeting of the Presidium of the Estonian Academy of Sciences that his country can fight Russia alone.
According to the minister, if Russia crosses the Estonian border, the Estonian army will respond militarily.
"Estonia can fight Russia alone. If you cross the border, we will kill you all," Herem said.
He also said that Russia's military infrastructure could be hit. According to Herem, if Estonia is attacked from a distance of 50-100 kilometers, retaliatory strikes could be directed at Ivangorod, Pechory and other directions in Russian territory.
In his speech, the Estonian minister also stated that Russia should be fragmented into several independent states.
