The global diesel fuel shortage is expected to continue until 2027. The reason for this is the depletion of fuel reserves.
Modern.az reports with reference to Reuters that this situation will lead to a further increase in fuel prices and strengthen the pressure on the world economy.
According to the agency, the wars in Iran and Ukraine have seriously disrupted the supply of diesel fuel. Millions of barrels of fuel being out of circulation in the Middle East and Russia have caused reserves to fall to historic lows and prices to rise to record levels.
Currently, Russia, Mongolia, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, France and dozens of other countries are experiencing an increase in diesel prices.
