Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has left for New York to attend the 81st session of the UN General Assembly.
Modern.az reports that Pezeshkian was officially sent off this morning, September 22, by Vice President Mohammad Reza Arif, Iran's Supreme Leader's Deputy for International Affairs Hojjat al-Islam wal-Muslimin Mohsen Qomi, as well as a number of government members.
During his visit, the Iranian president will address the 81st session of the UN General Assembly.
Pezeshkian will also hold meetings with leaders of a number of countries attending the General Assembly.
In addition, it is reported that the Iranian president will also hold meetings with prominent representatives and influential figures from political and cultural circles.
