Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei, who has been silent for a long time, offered condolences on the death of Ayatollah al-Uzma Shubeyri-Zanjani, one of the well-known scholars of the Shiite world.

In his message, Mojtaba Khamenei characterized Ayatollah Shubeyri-Zanjani as a high-level faqih and one of the leading researchers of Shiism.
He stated that the deceased scholar dedicated his entire life to learning, teaching and research, with the exception of his early childhood years.
It should be noted that Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei has not appeared in public since he was elected as the supreme leader of Iran.
