Turkey is on the eve of constitutional reforms
Modern.az reports with reference to local media that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan emphasized the importance of adopting a new Constitution for the future development of the country.
The Turkish leader said in an interview with journalists that the current Constitution, adopted in 1982, despite the changes made, is already outdated and does not meet modern realities.
“A new Constitution is no longer a luxury, but a need, even a necessity,” Erdoğan noted.
The President also stated that the preparatory stage has already been completed and the main demands of society have been identified.
