There is much to say about the forum, and this event is important in many respects. First of all, people from different countries of the world gather here to discuss an important problem - colonialism and housing, as well as how this problem can be solved fairly.

Modern.az reports that Byron-Cox Richard Antony, advisor to the head of government of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, said this in a statement to journalists at the event called "Injustices created by colonial administration and housing crisis" organized by the Baku Initiative Group (BIG) within the framework of WUF13.

He stated that one of the main advantages of the forum is bringing together different approaches:

"Although we all have a common problem, there are different approaches. Some approach the issue one way, others another. Therefore, we can learn from each other. By combining your approach with my approach, we can find a solution together."

Richard Byron-Cox also specifically emphasized Azerbaijan's hosting of such platforms:

"I believe that Azerbaijan is demonstrating leadership here. Because a country was needed to bring these people together. It's good that we gather together, but there must also be a party that brings us together. Azerbaijan plays exactly this role and unites people on one platform."

He noted that the housing problem remains a serious challenge, especially in countries that have experienced colonialism:

"Solving the housing problem is not a simple matter. It requires finance, land, engineers, and coordination to bring all resources together."

The expert added that these problems are related to the "legacy of colonialism" that has been formed over many years:

"This problem did not arise yesterday or today. It has existed for many years and cannot be eliminated overnight. It takes time."
