The list of the largest villages in Georgia by population has been announced.
Modern.az reports that, according to the published statistics, Didi Digomi is considered the largest village in the country with a population of 22,136 people.
The villages of Sadakhlo (Sadakhli) and Gizil-Hajili, located on the 2nd and 3rd places of the list, are part of the Marneuli municipality, where Azerbaijanis live compactly.
10,032 people live in Sadakhli, and 8,855 people live in Gizil-Hajili.
The top ten also included Churchkhani (7,662 people), Martkopi (6,859 people), Sartichala (6,621 people), Karaleti (6,028 people), Mukhrani (5,924 people), Ksani (5,199 people) and Akhalasheni (5,063 people).
