The interest of Azerbaijani citizens in traveling to foreign countries continues to grow. Last year, the value of tourism packages sold for foreign tours exceeded 137.8 million manats, reaching the highest indicator in recent years.
Modern.az reports that this information was provided in the State Statistical Committee's statistical compilation "Tourism in Azerbaijan – 2026".
According to the information, in 2025, 67,301 tourism packages were sold to Azerbaijani citizens for travel to foreign countries. The total value of these packages amounted to 137 million 820.2 thousand manats.
For comparison, the number of tourism packages sold for domestic travel was 8,483, and their total value was only 2 million 751 thousand manats.
According to statistics, a total of 86,147 tourism packages were sold in the country in 2025. Their total value amounted to 153 million 291.2 thousand manats. A large part of this fell to the share of tourism packages purchased for foreign trips.
