President of the European Commission Ursula Von der Leyen shared about the goals of her visit to Azerbaijan.
Modern.az reports that she announced her arrival in Baku on her social media account and revealed the European Union's vision for the South Caucasus.
"The European Union believes in a bright future for the South Caucasus, which is connected, peaceful and prosperous. We want to help build this future," said Ursula Von der Leyen.
She stated that one of the main goals of her visit is to further deepen the partnership between the European Union and Azerbaijan.
"We intend to develop cooperation in all directions, from trade to transport, from energy to economy," emphasized the President of the European Commission.
