Iran's Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei addressed the people regarding the memorandum signed with the United States.
Modern.az reports that he made a post about it on the social network "X".
"I had a different opinion regarding the memorandum. However, as the respected President, as the chairman of the Supreme National Security Council, on his own behalf and on behalf of the members of the Council, in connection with the obligation he undertook to protect the rights of the Iranian people and the Resistance Front, I allowed him. They confirmed that they are ready to bear this responsibility," Khamenei noted.
The Supreme Leader also stated that the agreement between the presidents of Iran and the United States has already been signed:
"Iranian officials have made serious efforts to reach this stage. Trump, out of desperation, resorted to various means of pressure to achieve this."
