US Vice President J.D. Vance announced that a 60-day period of talks between the United States and Iran has officially begun.

Modern.az reports that he said this at a briefing he held.

With this, he announced that the agreement has begun to take effect.

"The 60-day period officially began today. The agreement came into force yesterday, but the 60-day period is counted from today," he added.
